Rare Mid Century Rosewood Full Sized Platform Bed with Hanging Nightstands by Inter-Continental Design Limited
Stunning and rare mid-century modern platform bed with full sized headboard, side rails, and footboard with hanging nightstands on each side. This piece is made from gorgeous rosewood and manufactured by inter-continental design limited, canada. The headboard is composed of three pieces, a full headboard in the center and two mounting plates on each side for hanging matching nightstands. Each nightstand includes one dovetailed drawer with sculpted modernist handles.
A matching nine drawer dresser available in separate listing. This is an extremely well made and gorgeous piece that is not to be missed if you are looking for a full bed.
It is in excellent vintage condition. This set is in really good vintage condition, having been thoroughly cleaned and oiled to preserve the beauty of the wood. The only "wear" is that someone glued one of the boards attaching the nightstands to the headboard to the back of the headboard using some really strange adhesive. I've been working to remove all signs of it, but is a work in progress you can't see any of it from the front, it's just some glue on an area of the back.
