A large victorian antique pale oak wellington chest by shoolbred having decorative gadroon carved top, an arrangement of six fitted drawers each with two brass knobs, reeded pillars to either side, raised on a plinth base. Maker's mark jas shoolbred & co.
Height 136cm / width 72cm / depth 47cm. In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age and wear. General surface wear throughout including age-related marks to the top and to the sides (pictured). Some of the brass knobs have lost their original back plates and have similar replacements.The lock is missing from the right-hand side pillar so the chest cannot be locked.
