Natural wood house bed production time is 1-2 weeks. Hardwood trees are very slow growing trees compared to softwood trees, this tends to make them produce dense wood.
Items made from hardwoods are more likely to withstand years of wear and tear. Hard woods are usually much darker in colour and soft woods are usually lighter. Bed quality and durability for us is very important, so for our furniture we use only birch wood (even for painted beds). Birch is a hard, heavy, close grained hardwood that is extremely strong and durable and so is a smart choice for solid hardwood furniture. I knew opening the box that it would be quality because of the little touches like providing a full size hex wrench tool. The instructions were mostly easy to follow (a few pieces had the wrong numbers stuck to them, but it was easy enough).
