4 matching pieces bedroom set from the 1920s to 30s depression era, in the queen anne style, featuring burled walnut facades and carved center crests. Yes the dresser has a mirror- i normally take the pictures when the items arrive here to my warehouse, before they are put away, and the movers had misplaced the dresser mirror on arrival. So we took the pictures to document it in our stock first, the mirror was subsequently found and reunited with the set.It is complete with all drawers, mirrors, all the original hardware. It includes a double full bed frame, a dresser with mirror, tall chest with backsplash, and a vanity with mirror. The finish is a little worn around the edges and has dulled with age and use, typical of this kind of furniture. I had originally thought i would refinish it but haven't got around to it, so i'm offering as found.
The last photo is what the tall chest would look like refinished in a lighter, more natural color, so you can see the burl grain better. It really pops i have also painted the pieces from this series in the past, and they look equally amazing that way. The drawers are all dovetailed, finished throughout, with paneled bottoms. The sides of the case pieces are shaped at the bottom.
The splashes and mirrors are thickly framed and sturdy with very crisp details on the center crests. The hardware is solid cast brass pieces, not stamped or plated. You can tell this was a higher grade of piece when it was new. So i'm letting this go basically at cost as found. I would split it up to sell separately for the right offers, and especially if it can be picked up sooner than later to clear storage space.
