Tastefully refinished antique dresser in dixie belle silk mineral paint in the color saltwater. It is a beautiful, crisp white color and has a primer as well as topcoat built right into the paint. The three smaller drawers as well as the top of the dresser are stained in dixie belle's tobacco road stain and have poly acrylic on them. This lovely dresser has been dated to the early 1800's, it was refinished in february 1930 and penciled in on the bottom of the dresser drawer the year it was refinished as well as dating it back 128 years from that date the original hardware has been cleaned as well as polished.
The sides of all dresser drawers have been stenciled in the saltwater color with a vine border and also sealed with a topcoat of poly acrylic. The top three smaller drawers have also been lined with a beautiful gold damask liner. This dresser does have original keyholes but there are no keys for the drawers.I do my best to accurately describe each piece i sell and i want you to be satisfied. With that, i do not produce factory finish type furniture. None of my items are flawless as they are repurposed antique/vintage pieces.
